I heard this was a really good movie. I was at the mall with three friends. Two of us wanted to see this and the other two wanted to see 'Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. We all had to see the same movie, though, and through their complaining, we had to see the other movie. But enough about me. I wanna get to the critique. The picture of the statue is well done (where it scrolls up) and the grey background adds attention to the statue. And the part with the movie title at the bottom was good beacuse of the flash. It makes it look like it took a while to do. (I have no idea how to do flash animation)
Really good, I saw it last night and couldn't sleep, not out of fear but because my writing mind was on fire. I developed new symbology for my fanfic, and it was an awesome idea.
I really enjoyed the movie because it made me think, and because Tom Hanks always gives a good performance. Ewan McGregor was also really good in this.
I also really got "into" the movie. I won't give away spoilers for the other deviants that might like to read comments, but I will say that on the "fourth hour", when Robert Langdon called for the crowd watching to help him, I actually started trying to wave them over from my movie seat.
The first of the four was the worst, though... you're used to seeing people killed the way the other three were on TV (like being stabbed, for example), but that old man... and the rats... I had to put away my popcorn for a few minutes.
So far, my list of 21st century Literature authors looks like this:
J.K. Rowling Brian Jacques (Redwall series) Khaled Hosseini (The Kite Runner) Dan Brown Jodi Picoult

Fanfic author of five years!
When I read a book I seem to read it with my eyes only, but now and then I come across a passage, perhaps only a phrase, which has a meaning for me, and it becomes part of me.-W. Somerset Maugham
I'm glad you enjoyed the movie, i wish there were many more movies like it. thank you for sharing your thought about it, but i have to say the rats were not as freaky as the fire... lol
